Amie Myrick licensed clinical professional counselor who specializes in working with traumatized populations and providing training and consultation to groups interested in a trauma-informed approach. She oversees national projects funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) aimed at reducing and preventing suicidality, overdose, and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and increasing capacities for local health departments and community-based organizations. Amie is an ACE Master Presenter in the state of Maryland and a national HOPE facilitator. She has been invited to train community members and professionals on trauma-related topics throughout the country and has provided direct care in the community for over ten years. Her “why” is to create a compassionate world so that all can feel seen.
