Level 2 Implementation Support Specialist Certification

Anticipated launch date: 2026

The Level 2 Implementation Support Specialist certificate is our advanced level certification for people who are aiming to practice implementation support beyond the foundations.

This certification covers special topics in depth, focusing on adaptations, context, and sustainability.

It also covers the relational dynamics of implementation, such as trust, power, engagement, motivation, managing complexity, and the ability to provide ad hoc support.  

The Level 2 certification builds on the foundational knowledge and skills developed in Level 1 to help you uncover more nuanced and informed approaches for delivering high-quality implementation support.

Level 2 is currently in development.

Learning Objectives

Certification Process

Completing TCI’s Level 2 training (courses and assignments) and an assessment and evaluation stage will be required for the Level 2 certification.

All components will be virtual, which means you can complete this certification from anywhere in the world.

💡 Note: You can progress to the Level 2 certification after obtaining the Level 1 certification. However, we recommend only progressing to Level 2 if you have previously worked in implementation support and are now in a role supporting spread and scale and/or providing implementation support consultation/guidance for multiple initiatives.

    • All four of our Level 2 courses will be required for the Level 2 certification:

      While we develop the Level 2 certification, you’re welcome to get a head start and complete the courses and assignments that are currently available!

    • The Level 2 certification is ideal for you if you have experience supporting implementation and are currently supporting spread and scale or providing implementation support/guidance for multiple initiatives.

    • Like the Level 1 certification, teams are welcome to proceed through the course content together; however, all course assignments, along with the assessment and evaluation phase, must be completed individually.

    • We anticipate it to be about 2-4 hours per module for each course. This allows approximately 1-2 hours to move through the main content and an additional 1-2 hours to work on the assignments and read through recommended resources.

      As the assessment portion is still under development, we can’t provide a time estimate just yet!
