The Center for Implementation supports people to plan for implementation that will lead them to effective change. Planning for adaptations is a fundamental aspect of implementation.

We first developed the Map2Adapt process in 2020. Since then, we have revised the process and developed an interactive online tool (this tool) that walks you through activities and decision points of the Map2Adapt process to help you proactively plan for adaptations.

Important note: This is an advanced tool, which assumes that you have the foundational knowledge of selecting change strategies (e.g., defining the WHO, the WHAT, and the HOWs), and conducting a context assessment. You can learn more about these through the StrategEase course.

In this video, Julia will introduce you to Map2Adapt, our process model that guides planning for adaptations step by step.

You’ll get a clear overview of how the model was developed and its steps and decision points.

Note: Map2Adapt is explored more in depth in Context at Scale.

For the best experience, we recommend using this tool on a desktop device.
