Workshops

Our professional development workshops explore essential topics in implementation. They’re a great way to foster engagement and begin building capacity within your team or organization.

Our workshops are highly interactive and often requested as standalone training. We’ll work with you to tailor activities to your team using examples based on your specific context.

Pie chart with three sections. The section titled Workshops is highlighted in teal, while the other two sections, Implementation Support and Partnerships, are shown in pale gray to emphasize Workshops.

Consider our workshops if:

  • You want to increase interest and excitement for using implementation science to support your initiatives.

  • You want to introduce purposeful concepts to your team.

  • You’re looking for new ways to make progress in your initiatives.

  • You want to encourage your team to think about how they can apply new knowledge to their work.

Workshop design

A website page with the title Framework: Theoretical Domains Framework (TDF). It includes sections on Capability, Knowledge, Skills, and a workshop titled Unpacking Barriers and Facilitators to Change.

We’ve designed and refined our workshops based on our experiences supporting 100+ implementation projects and training thousands of changemakers worldwide.

Our virtual, in-person, and hybrid workshops include a combination of didactic presentations and interactive activities. Guided by best practices in adult education, we have a 60-to-40 ratio of activities-to-presentations.

As we aren’t experts in your content area, we’ll meet with you to develop examples that are relevant to your team and incorporate them into the workshop as activities.

Pre workshop

  • Dedicated logistics facilitator

  • 1 30-min logistics meeting

  • 2 preparatory meetings to discuss content plan and activities for the workshop

  • 1 round of feedback on the agenda, learning objectives, and activity examples

During workshop

  • Engaging presentation with interactive activities and high quality slides

  • PDF handout of key concepts and recommended resources

Post workshop

  • Evaluation survey

  • Access to the workshop recording for 1 year (if virtual)

  • Registration reports (if virtual)

  • To truly build capacity, we recommend packaging our workshops with additional training and support.

This could look like combining a workshop with:

    • Enrolling staff in our comprehensive online courses to give them foundational knowledge, skills, and tools to confidently create change.

    • Coaching sessions for your organization to ensure that the knowledge and skills you’re building are harnessed for greater impact.

    • Facilitated Implementation Planning Sessions to be expertly led through the process of achieving a strategic goal.

Let us know more about your objectives and we can design a unique training package to meet your initiative’s needs.
