A Master of Public Health, April's mission is to maximize the impact of evidence for better health for all. To date, her career has been focused on supporting researchers, academic institutions, non-profits, government agencies, and individuals in four areas: (1) implementing, sustaining, and scaling evidence-informed interventions (programs, policies, practices) to improve public health; (2) applying behaviour change strategies to improve health outcomes; (3) synthesizing, translating and disseminating complicated information into clear, accessible and actionable content for knowledge uptake and use; (4) bridging connections, building relationships and engaging citizens and partners to increase trust and collaboration.
