Kelly has 18 years of diverse informatics and clinical pharmacy experience. Prior to the last couple of years spent in the industry and consulting space, she spent seven years as a clinical informaticist at a large integrated health network. There she helped build a team of experts in Epic functionality and clinical workflows who supported many of the organization’s large quality improvement, patient safety, and evidence-based medicine initiatives. Kelly spent the first eight years of her career as an inpatient clinical pharmacist staffing all inpatient roles (IMC, ICU, Pediatrics, NICU, Oncology) before landing in her favorite department as an ED Clinical Pharmacist. Kelly is board-certified in both pharmacotherapy and clinical informatics. She also holds Epic certifications in Clinical Informatics, Cogito, and Research Clinical and has experience building order sets, best practice alerts, panels, patient education, and SmartTools in Epic. She has presented her workflow solutions at Epic’s Expert Group Meeting (XGM) and is passionate about helping healthcare teams define current opportunities and educating to potential solutions.
