Sara is a Senior Implementation Specialist with the Canadian Cancer Society’s Centre for Cancer Prevention and Support (CCPS), a national hub of research and innovation for cancer prevention and survivorship that takes discoveries from the lab to life faster, drives system change and helps Canadians take control of cancer. Sara is a passionate communicator and knowledge mobilizer with expertise in promoting cancer prevention and survivorship research through implementation strategies. She leads knowledge synthesis, designs and assesses knowledge products, collaborates with partners to adapt interventions and manages activities for national cancer research networks. Sara’s work with CCPS and the broader Cancer Strategy and Innovation (CSI) team identifies unmet needs across the cancer continuum and co-develops innovative and sustainable solutions with partners to drive change, including optimizing the impact of programs and services that prevent cancer, reducing health inequities, and enhancing the quality of life for people affected by cancer.
