Dr. Susan Rabinowicz started her professional journey as a pediatric physical therapist, working in a center-based program. Much of her clinical experience has been working with young children and families enrolled in the early intervention program. Dr. Rabinowicz’s interest in the professional development of clinicians working with young children and families prompted her to pursue her doctoral degree, during which time she was introduced to the field of knowledge translation. Susan is currently a faculty member, at St. John’s University and is focused on introducing the field of implementation science to students, faculty and community partners. Her KT Lab enables students to learn about the field of knowledge translation, as well as to promote awareness of the field among the academic community. In addition to being a Level 1 Certified Implementation Support Specialist, she has earned a Knowledge Translation Professional Certificate from the University of Toronto/Sick Kids Learning Institute.
