Areas of interest
Dr. Peterson-Katz received her Bachelor's of Arts and Science (Honours) in Cognitive Science from McGill University in 2019, and her PhD in Neuroscience from Queen’s University in 2023. Her doctoral research focused on early childhood development across various Canadian contexts and the implementation of developmental screening tools, such as the Ages and Stages Questionnaires. Dr. Peterson-Katz is a post-doctoral research fellow with Infant and Early Mental Health Promotion, and currently leads the evaluation of the IEMH Care Pathways initiative and the first Canadian database of development from infancy to age six.
