Kate Coates is the Implementation and Technical Assistance Specialist with The Office of Community Corrections. She has worked in the Community Corrections field for over 19 years and has experience working in program operations and administration. During that time, she gained valuable experience providing training, coaching, implementation, and quality assurance, specializing in evidence-based practices. Kate has been assisting with the implementation of best practices in Colorado Community Corrections since 2011. She has been practicing and training Motivational Interviewing since 2011 and became a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) in 2018. Kate is passionate about the implementation of and fidelity to evidence-based practices and is committed to helping organizations improve practices and increase client success.
