Kristy currently works as a Knowledge Translation & Implementation Coordinator with the Waypoint Research Institute in Ontario, Canada. She has extensive experience working across the mental health and substance use sector, specializing in knowledge translation and community engagement. Working from a lens of knowledge equity, her work involves collaboration with diverse stakeholders to lead and co-create various knowledge mobilization projects, from planning through to product creation and dissemination. She holds a Master's of Public Health degree from Simon Fraser University, with a concentration in Social Inequities in Health. In addition to her Level 1 Implementation Support Specialist Certification, she also holds certificates in Knowledge Mobilization from the University of Guelph, and in Family Engagement in Research (FER) & Leadership in FER from McMaster University.
