Since your main goal is to become an advanced implementation support practitioner, we recommend pursuing both the Level 1 and Level 2 Implementation Support Specialist certifications.
The Level 1 certification is the best place to start as it builds the foundational skills you'll need to grow your expertise. It's also required before earning the Level 2 certification.
Once you're nearing completion of Level 1, you can begin exploring courses from the next level. While the Level 2 certification is not yet available, the courses themselves can be taken at any time. One course in particular, Hidden Curriculum: Igniting Change From the Middle, is especially valuable for developing the relational and adaptive capabilities that distinguish advanced implementation support practitioners.
(If you’ve taken any of these already, you’re on the right track!)
Level 1 Implementation Support Specialist Certification
By becoming a Certified Level 1 Implementation Support Specialist, you’ll build essential foundational skills to apply implementation science in designing, implementing, spreading, and scaling change.
You’ll deepen your knowledge through both Level 1 courses, learning how to design a change initiative that’s set up for success and how to develop a strong implementation plan. You’ll also complete assignments and a final assessment to demonstrate what you’ve learned. Once certified, you’ll receive a digital certificate and badge, with the option to be featured in our global directory of certified professionals.
Hidden Curriculum: Igniting Change From the Middle
This Level 2 course reveals the often-unspoken elements of providing high-quality implementation support, going beyond technical tasks to explore the deeper functions that help people implement change.
You’ll learn the 5 vital functions of implementation support practitioners and explore approaches to support collective action, deepen relationships, and strengthen your ability to inspire and unify teams around shared goals.
Hidden Curriculum counts toward the Level 2 certification and is designed to help you build the advanced skills needed to succeed as an implementation support practitioner.
