Using Implementation Science to
Move Forward Together in a Challenging Context

Feeling stuck, overwhelmed,
or unsure how to move forward?

Many of us are doing implementation work in a rapidly changing context, and are feeling incredibly overwhelmed in terms of how to move forward.

Luckily, we can turn to implementation science to ease some barriers and help us feel more empowered and hopeful about what’s possible.

At this informal virtual gathering, we’ll be framing and grounding our conversation in what we know works in implementation science—a “meta application” of using what we know to better support our own field.

Keep in mind this isn’t designed to be an instructional learning event—we won’t be introducing you to a new tool or teaching new content.

Instead, we’ll be creating a space for all of us to connect through our common challenges, inspire one another, and exchange ideas for how we’re currently navigating uncertainty during this difficult time.

This gathering is a space to reset

We’ll use the implementation science principles we know so well—and a supportive investigative lens—to help us make sense of the changes we’re facing.

You’ll have the opportunity to vent, reflect, and connect with others navigating similar struggles in a safe space.

Together, we’ll uncover what's within our control, explore how to respond with intention, and leave with small but meaningful steps forward to make showing up to our jobs a little easier.

We’re only actively sharing this event with the changemakers on our mailing list, but please feel free to share this registration page with anyone who might benefit from participating.

What we’ll explore

We'll look at how implementation science principles and approaches can help us:

Understand changing contexts

We’ll acknowledge the shifts around us and how we’re feeling—and try to make sense of what it all means.

Identify barriers and select strategies to support action

We’ll unpack what’s getting in the way and explore how tangible tools (like StrategEase) can help us respond.

Reclaim our power within and connect with others

We’ll reflect on our Jewels of Power and discuss the importance of connection.

Plus, there will be lots of opportunities for engagement

We’ll reflect, share (as you're comfortable), and engage with tools and activities together. Your insights and experiences are a valuable part of the conversation—and the reason we’re holding this event.

It will be a reflective and action-oriented session where we’ll pause, gain our grounding, and explore how we can navigate challenges—together. We hope you’ll join us!
