WHO, WHAT, & HOW (Theory + Barriers & Facilitators)

A foundational piece of embarking on change is clearly defining WHO is being asked to change, WHAT they are being asked to do, and HOW they will be supported to make that change.

The WHO describes who is doing something differently as a result of the THING.

The WHAT describes what they are doing differently as a result of the THING, many of which are outlined by the “7 Ps”.

The HOW (i.e., how they will do the THING differently)are the change strategies that enable the WHOs to do the WHATs (e.g., education, reminders, champions, audit and feedback, and leadership engagement strategies).
