Valentina Gastaldo is the Lead Product Designer at The Centre for Implementation (TCI), focusing on product development and UX design. She leads the development of TCI's interactive tools (e.g., StrategEase Tool) and images, alongside designing learning experiences through workshop coordination, online course production, and resource development. Her work integrates creativity and strategy to ensure that implementation science is not only accessible but also actionable.
Valentina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Production from Toronto Metropolitan University, with a minor in Psychology — a foundation that informs her human-centred approach to design and communication. She has also completed a Certificate in Knowledge Mobilization from York University, equipping her to bridge research evidence and practical application through design.
Her practice is grounded in design thinking, which is applied across every stage of a project, from early concept and prototyping to final delivery. Valentina is committed to ensuring that every product and learning experience is accessible and usable by meeting people where they are at. She believes that well-designed tools can support people in translating complex evidence into change and is passionate about helping organizations build the capacity to put implementation science into practice.
