Vanessa Trenton

Vanessa Trenton has a talent for organizing information and putting plans in motion. She is exceptional at developing systems and executing procedures to streamline workflows and optimize internal processes. She is a versatile and creative problem solver who is always envisioning opportunities for improvement and change.

Vanessa comes to TCI with a range of expertise, including arts administration, script development, and performance. For four years, she was the Creative Producer and Coordinator of FEM Script Lab, a script development initiative for female and non-binary screenwriters. She has been a juror for the Canadian Screen Awards; Women in Film & Television (WIFT) - Toronto; and the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA) – Toronto. She has also worked with the Female Eye Film Festival’s Script Development Programme and has been an Assistant Producer for fu-GEN Asian Canadian Theatre Company. Vanessa holds a First Class Combined Honours BA in Gender & Women’s Studies and Theatre.

Vanessa manages administrative, operational, and marketing elements for TCI, which includes responsibilities in a variety areas such as proposals, contracts, invoicing, plus developing and executing marketing strategies.
