Principles shape how initiatives are designed, who is involved, and how change is expected to happen, yet they are often left implicit. Clearly defining principles supports shared understanding, helps align actions with values, and guides adaptation without unintentionally drifting away from what matters most.

This resource provides examples of principles of WHATs and HOWs. These can guide how programs, practices, and policies are designed, implemented, and adapted.
